Energy Support Services was conceived out of an owner-based perspective of maintaining and operating all aspects of Community Solar Garden projects. We know what works, what does not, best practices, and what should be avoided at all costs. Our asset management delivers bottom-line results, stakeholder compliance, periodic reporting, and other services. Our in-field technicians are safety-focused, highly trained, and experienced in the local nuances. We take pride in returning systems to service correctly and rapidly.
Founded in 2014 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of New Energy Equity to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Asset Management services to in-house developed solar projects, ESS is now one of the premier renewable energy service teams in the nation. With current operational oversight in more than 15 states, greater than 170 megawatts under contract across 30+ different customer entities, ESS is prepared to give you the support you need to make your investment in clean energy a lasting one.

Our monitoring and asset management teams are located in Annapolis, Maryland while our field technicians are prepared for constant travel for preventative and corrective maintenance needs. As a member of the Amicus O&M Solar Cooperative, we partner with the O&M community to provide corrective maintenance work around the United States.
